Join us on a historical full day tour to Maputo, the capital of Mozambique.
Let us introduce you to our neighboring country, the majestic country of Swaziland, who’s beauty is beyond comparison.
PANORAMA ROUTE FULL DAY TOUR – R2155 pp (9-10 hrs., all ages welcome)
On this full day tour, you will get to experience Mpumalanga’s most spectacular scenery.
Visit the charming village of Graskop and the spectacular Lisbon falls, Mac-Mac falls and Berlin falls. The breathtaking view from Gods Window overlooks a sheer 300-meter drop into a ravine which houses an indigenous forest. You can even see the Kruger Park in a distance, too.
The natural potholes of Bourke’s Luck are deep cylindrical holes formed by the action of sand and rocks carried down by the water when the river is in flood. You will also be visiting the Blyde River Canyon, the 3rd largest canyon in the world.
Lunch will be at the famous Harry’s Pancakes (for your own account). If time allows we will also pay a visit to Pilgrims Rest, an old historical gold mining town. The tour departs between 7am & 8am, with an expected return time at about 5pm.
MAPUTO CITY FULL DAY TOUR – R2775 pp (9-10 hrs., all ages welcome)
Let us introduce you to Mozambique with its Portuguese/African culture.
You will pay a visit to some of the following tourist attractions – depending on the delay at the border:
- The Town Hall and Catholic Cathedral
- The Steel House
- The Botanical Gardens
- The Fort and Train Station, and
- The Fresh Produce & Fish Market.
We will stop for lunch at a beach front restaurant where you can enjoy prawns, seafood platters and delicious local beer (for your own account). The tours departs from the lodge between 7am and 8am and we return about 5pm. Visa’s can be obtained at the border post (for your own account).
SWAZILAND FULL DAY TOUR – R2155 pp (9-10 hrs., all ages welcome)
Visit the Swazi Cultural Village of the King of Swaziland where you will get to learn some of the Swazi customs and way of life on a guided tour through the village.
Get to watch them perform local dances in traditional dress and experience their amazing natural African talent for rhythm.
Visit the Ngwenya Glass Factory that produces some of the most beautiful hand made glass, the Ezulweni Valley, Craft Market (Crafts and Curios) and Rose Craft (Mohair Products).
We’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant (for your own account), after which a stop at Swazi Candles will be the last visit on the list, where we will watch the creation process and meet the artisans.
