FULL DAY SAFARI

Welcome to Bushwise’s full day safari, an unforgettable experience. The best of Africa – Kruger National Park, with excellent Big 5 game viewing-we will show you what Kruger has to offer. All safaris are conducted in a registered game viewing vehicle with a professional guide who has a passion for the African bush and knows Kruger like the back of his hand. We depart at 05:30 am and return late afternoon. Your personal guide cook you breakfast, overlooking one of the watering holes. There will be a number of stops during the day one of which you will have the opportunity to buy lunch. There is also a half day option if that is more to your liking which runs for about 4-6 hours. The  full day safari is R880 per person and the half day is R660 per person.

ELEPHANT SAFARI INTERACTION

Get up close and personal with the elephants. The experience allows you to touch and exchange greetings with this magnificent animal. You can experience and enjoy an exciting elephant meander through a private game park. Its priced at R770 per person and departure will depend on the booking time. The total experience is about one hour.

 

SUNSET DRIVE

On the sunset drive you get to see all the nocturnal animals of Kruger that are absent during the day. We depart the lodge at 15:30 and return to the lodge at around 20:00 where one of our delicious 3 course dinners will be served to you by candle light under the African sky. During the drive you get to experience one of Africa’s magnificent  sunsets over the bush. Spotlights are provided on the vehicle. Priced at R605 per person. (No children under 6)

MORNING WALK

Take a walk on  the wild side in the Kruger National park where armed Kruger guides will introduce you to what Kruger has to offer on foot. Tracking of animals and the medicinal use of plant and trees are just a few of the topics that will be covered as well as identification and habits of birds and animals. Sightings of the Big 5 is a realistic possibility. Priced at R660 per person. (No children under 12)

BUSH WALK

Enjoy a walk around the lodge along the banks of the Crocodile River where you can discover all the secrets of nature through the eyes of our experienced guide while he enlightens you with his knowledge and his passion for the African bush. Zebra, Gnu, Kudu, Warthog and Giraffe are just some of the game that you will encounter on the walk. Our guide will also point out the amazing variety of bird species in and around the Kruger Park as well as the Big Five Trees, the Little Five and the Ugly Five (Do you know who they are?!). If you’re lucky, you might see some of the Big 5 on the Kruger Park side of the fence as well… Africa is full of surprises. Duration of the walk is 2 – 3 hours. Priced at R300 per person. All ages welcome.

TIGER FISHING

By far the most powerful fresh water fish on Earth! The Scientific name is translated literally as water dog. Tiger fish have been recorded to hit their prey at 50km/h. They have 20 cone shaped teeth that are extremely sharp. A half day fishing safari takes place on the Komati river. An experienced fishing guide caters for the novice and experienced fisherman alike. Priced at R770 per person.

HORSE RIDING

For the experienced as well as novice rider, horse riding safaris are conducted on a private game farm, minimum 4 people. ( No children under 6) Priced at R605 per person.

SWAZI-CULTURAL VILLAGE

Visit the Swazi cultural village where you will learn more about swazi customs and culture on a tour conducted through the village. Watch them preform local dances in traditional dress and experience their amazing natural rhythm. Cuisine lunch for your own account. Priced at R770 per person.

MICROLIGHT SAFARI

You’ll be flying in a fixed wing bantam microlight aircraft over a private game reserve on the southern border of the Kruger park. Expect an exhilarating big game experience. Flights are conducted early morning and evenings and are weather dependent. Priced at R1210 per person.
